Paul is a Technical and Policy Advisor with the Pembina Institute's Sustainable Communities Group. Paul leads the Pembina Institute's international program, which is aimed at expanding sustainable livelihood opportunities through increased access to clean, reliable and renewable energy. He has worked with partners in developing countries to build capacity in the areas of renewable energy technologies, climate change and carbon financing. Paul also works with municipalities and First Nation communities in Canada to develop energy baseline inventories and complete energy efficiency and renewable energy implementation plans. In addition, Paul provides technical support and policy research relating to renewable energy, energy efficiency and carbon capture and storage technologies. Paul has a degree in Mechanical Engineering from McGill University.
